I got this idea from V and Co. one of the blogs I "stalk" She made a tutorial that looked so easy so I figured I would try... Oh my goodness sooo not easy. I'm mean sure in theory it was, but this took a toll on both my back and fingers. I just need to get those sewing calluses built up again.
I used a Moda Fabric "Honey Bun" called Oh Cherry Oh. I think the next time I attempt this project I will make the rows a tad bit smaller that way I can fit more colors on and not get so many repeats while wrapping it around.

I love it! I want one but I'm much to lazy to make one.
Were you speaking english in that last parograph? Sewing must have it's own language and I definately don't speak it! Yikes.
I love her blog too she is so creative. Good job on your basket
My mom made easter baskets like these for us as kids!!! I loved mine!
Moda fabric is my favorite!!! My aunt owns a quilt shop and sells a lot of Moda. When you guys come up next I will have to take you there.
We must have been separated at birth!
I had a dream about this basket last night but it was humongous and we were arguing because I kept telling you it was at least two feet wide and not six inches and you kept insisting it was six inches. RANDOM.
About your comment on my blog: you do know *exactly* what I'm going through. Levi does not like his job. He didn't like it ever *before* it got so stressful. Every morning, he whines about it. Every night when he comes home. He stays up late, because going to bed means he has to go to work that much sooner. It's miserable. I keep saying that it will get better.......someday.......but I don't know that.
I really really hope so, at least.
That looks so good! But I do have to agree with your friend Lisa Marie :)
