Christmas Day

Christmas has come and gone and once again I forgot to get myself into one of the photos with my kids.

The kids had a great time opening presents and then later on visiting with their cousins and opening more presents.

Temple lights

We went Saturday of last week and it was a total mad house! Bugs  was having a hard time enjoying the lights at temple square since she is basically the height of everyone's Booty. At least we were able to go and walk around before it closed for the evening. it had taken us 45 mins to park and for that I remember why we started taking Trax in the first place. :) 

Everyone was happy that we got some hot chocolate and was able to warm up a bit after we bravely fought the crowd of light gazers. 

Black Friday.

The last few years I usually go black Friday shopping at midnight. This year however I was thankful that hey allowed sales online so i didn't have to put my pants back to to go out in public. Pants are seriously over rated. I think I just might need to shop on line more often considering I got just as good or better deals, i didn't have to elbow an 80 yr old granny in the eye to get the last of something and I didn't have a panic attack for being around so many people at once. (side note, I wouldn't elbow anyone I don't know. just in case you were wondering.)

As a family we all ended up sleeping in, eating lunch at our favorite place and then headed to JCP to possible find something that was a good enough deal to buy. I don't normally like to shop with MLH but today he was super helpful.. the words " why don't I wait in line for you while you shop and that way we don't have to wait very long." actually came out of his mouth. which followed with me saying, " ok, why don't you take the kids as well so i can cover more ground."

after "splurging" on a pair of shoes for Pan and a scarf for Bug we headed to the park for me to take photos of a family that I love so very much. MLH and I have known them for years. he met them when he was on his mission and i got introduced and took there wedding photos over 10- years ago. it was nice to reconnect and see how big the entire family has gotten.

all in all it was a good day, kids got to play. jump in leaves, sing at the top of their lungs in the car and hopefully  go bed early tonight.     *fingers crossed*

Pan's First Thanksgiving

I am sooo sorry Pan you are seriously the second child and I have lost my love for carrying my camera everywhere to document. I mean why would I when I have a phone.. lol I think I need a new small camera.

With that being said Pan ate is first Thanksgiving dinner and he loved it. He loves food so much that almost everything goes in his mouth and I hardly ever have to clean the floor after he has eaten.

Bugs was such a big help yesterday, while I finished pies and cleaned the kitchen she fed Pan, now if I could only get her to change diapers :)  She really is a great big sister and a wonderful helper. 

Home after visiting and eating at MLH parents house. The food was great along with the company. I am glad I got at least one photo.  these were the only photos I took yesterday. total mom fail. 

Pan 10 months

Pam turned 10 months while we took a short holiday to California to see my parents. By we I mean myself and the kids. Poor MLH had to stay behind. :(

 that will be another post.  for now here are the many faces of Pan. or Mr Squishy as Lady K likes to call him .

 how can you not love a baby in overalls

Milestones for this wee one are crawling really super fast. clapping, pulling himself up on things and walking around said thing. he eats a lot of different foods, I personally like the Plum brand, Peter Rabbit and also the Ella's Kitchen. they seem to have the best flavors and get veggies mixed in. I love that they are organic as well. Poor little guy still doesn't have any teeth although he drools bites and slobers so freaking much.  We wont be going back to the Dr until he is a year so he is approx this big. :)

Pan 7 months

Hey check me out only 3 days late instead of 2 weeks!!!

Mister is a pro sitter, and also snuggler that kid just wants to watch anything and everything everyone is doing all the time. I'm pretty sure his favorite person is Bug, whenever she is in the room he laughs continuously.  most of these photos are from when Bug, Pan and I went to California to see my parents and also all the cousins. it was a lot of fun to see all the kids interact with each other.

Fake cough face. sooo funny. 

this chair has gone through all 10 grandkids the oldest being 16 now and the youngest is 5 days younger then Pan.

loves fruit, and this is real fruit not the baby food jarred stuff. 

Oh my goodness I just want to squish his cuteness. I mean seriously!

He figured out that if he kicked the side of his crib then his friends would dance.

not sure how my phone did this but I think it's pretty cool.

He loved the swings at the park, I was kinda afraid to swing him to fast since Bug at this age hated them, actually I still think she isn't that fond of the swings.

Gramma Gramma came to visit and bring Bugs back to us which sounds funny when I type it but in reality it was a child and not actual bugs.  

Bugs Dressed him up and renamed "her" all the single ladies. so she could have a sister.

this was from this morning he was sitting up and then Bugs came to sit next to him so he decided to wiggle over to snuggle her.
