When does being nice and helping out start turning into something that is getting taken advantage of?

I judge.

It's true, Everyone does it so don't get all high and mighty with me. how can you not when it;s sitting right there in front of you face taunting you? Oh those sill little things called donuts in those wondrous things called bakeries.  I base the deliciousness of a bakery on how good there maple bars are. It takes a certain type and just the right kind of maple bar to win me over. this is what I have found so far.

Least favorite = Harmons
Oh Harmons how could you let me down. you drew me in with all your wonderfully delicious cheese and slapped me when I tried your bakery items. maple bar is totally Bleck and as for the other desserts I give them a Meh.

Just above Meh = Krispy Kreme
I just think these are gross in general... so there

Middle of the road = Smiths
Oh come on its not like I have gone around to every single place to get donuts these places are all close by. Smiths Maple bars tend to dry out reeeeeally fast, or at times they seem a bit greasy. ugh

a tad bit past middle of the road = Walmart
believe it or not they actually have pretty good donuts. now this is the one by my house, not to sure about the other ones.

I could die eating this donut it so freaking delicious = Dunford Bakery
Holy crap I can't talk enough about this place. they have go to be one of the greatest bakeries I have ever been to and also excited that they deliver to a local gas station next to my house. and they really sad thing is I know when they set out fresh donuts at night so if I ever wanted a freakishly delicious straight to my butt and arms snack I know when and where to go. =)


on a side note, you know you are sleep deprived when you start blogging about donuts at 4 am.

Things I Miss.

Lately I have been Missing things and I'm not talking about he "where did I put it" missing things I'm talking about honest to goodness THINGS I used to have and now I don't . For Instances my hair. I'm not bald by any means, granted Husband calls be Justin Bieber occasionally but that's besides the point. I miss my long hair.... My neck is cold.


other things that go in the "Missing" category would be:
Pie, The Coastal Fog along with the breeze it brings with it, Bonfires at the beach. perfect eyesight (which I can't really claim since I never really had perfect anything), swimming. And thats just to name a few.  

 I think a vacation is in my near future, and most likely to sunny California.

 Sweet Dress!

If you are wondering as to why there are so many pictures of me, I was trying to make a point.

 I have had alot of different hair styles along with hair color. granted these aren't all of them. I wasn't going to spend an hour scanning old picture of my self just for me to get embarrassed. 

So here goes Hello my name is Nemiha am 27 years old and FINALLY have my natural hair color back after approx 11 years. "phew" that felt good. And I gotta tell you, I don't remember being this brunette. Can I still consider myself a dark blonde.. pleeeeease.

Granted that really isn't the best picture of me, well to tell you the truth no picture is a good picture when you have to take it yourself. Every time I had husband home I was way to distracted with other things you know like dinner, dishes, bathtime and also bathing bug. I would also like to add that I don't have a bobby pin holding back my hair that's all PALMADE BABY!! I love how short it is. My next challenge is to no cut my hair and see how long it grows in the next 5 years. I say five years because that will most likely get the length down pass my shoulders. my goal is belly button.. we'll see.

Alright I have no idea what I wrote about because I started this post 3 weeks ago!, Like I said... bad blogger.  And I'm not going to go back and sentence correct or check for spelling errors because it will not only annoy my little sister it will bu g my husband as well. =) such love.

Forgive me...

As my Fish friend pointed out today I have been a bad blogger.  I would like to blog, however I'm just sick of being around my computer. It sits there taunting me begging to be used for something other then photoshop and facebook with the occasional netflix... ok it's mostly netflix. Perhaps once this holiday season gets over I will feel like myself again.

week in review

I am in the process of finishing not 1 but 3 different refashions for Thursday's deadline.. it's a nail biter< but i am having fun coming up with different ideas. Next thing to tackle will be the dress design for the Shabby Apple Dare to design which dealine is Oct 15th. Although only a drawing is requiring I think I might make one of the designs because it just doesn't look good on paper and I think it will look better sewn together.
The weather has been beautiful so I have been taking advantage of it. Going to parks, playing outside, talking walks. it has been wonderful. the ohter that I was telling Husband that I wish it would get cold already so I can start weraing my swetares and also start complaining about how I wish it were warm.

Forgetfulness...

So for a quick update:
Organizing - has been going slow but I am actually getting a routine down. It's about time!
Sewing/Craft Projects - I have actually been making time to sew more. in the process of making a blanket for Bugs bed. almost finished too
Baking - since the summer is coming to an end I am really wanting to bake more so every Sunday I plan on making a new delicious goodie..
Photography - Sessions are booking and I am keeping busy with editing.

Looks like things are going a lot better then I thought they might have been.

I surrender..

My house has taken me hostage and I don't know when I will be able to see the light of day. The towels have formed an army and are plotting with the jeans to completely take over the entire upstairs. I'm pretty sure the dishes would like to get in on the plan but they are stuck to the sink, stove and also the dinner table from this mornings oatmeal.

I am hoping that if I ignore them long enough they will just decide to disappear.

*sigh* of only it would disappear. I cleaned the upstairs for 2 hours yesterday and this afternoon when I got back from running errands I think the linens had a hootenanny and left me the mess to pick up.

Back to the wonders of my mess. if you don't hear from me in 2 days then the towels have won, or I simply just left the house.

A Soda kind of day...

Ever have one of those days that you knew everything would get better as long as you got your hands on a soda? not just any soda but A Dr Pepper from a fast food restaurant.. Ah yes, I went through 3 of them today it didn't help me. although it did make one little girl that got a hepatitis shot today very happy. (I didn't let her drink that entire soda)

that was my random thought for the day now I am off to finish Laundry, pretend to cook dinner and then sit at my computer and edit photos until 2 am . sounds like a good night.

Rendezvous with a Stapler

I know weird title but I couldn't think of anything unique or exciting.. I mean for crying out loud I am writing about a stapler. There are certain office supplies that I don't have an opinion about, for one the calculator, possibly the hole puncher, I guess it would all depend on how much I use them. The stapler how ever I use a TON. Staplers that get on my nerves for poor design are...

-Ones that only hold 5 staples at a time ... REALLY 5 STAPLES, could you not see where this might be a design flaw. 

-The ever sticking stapler that needs to be hit on the desk to get broken free.

-My all time favorite is the one where you have to look at the instruction manual to figure out how to load the dang thing. =)

So when I first was introduced to this little beauty of a stapler i was awestruck, Literally. I was so excited that this stapler was a good one. doesn't stick, I don't need to read the manual to figure it out and it holds way more than 5 staples and on top of it all I wont get arthritis from stapling more then 5 pages at a time. This sucker will stapler through about 30 at ONCE.

Simply Nemiha

I don't normally talk about myself in the way of publishing it on the web for people to read but today I figured why not? I don't know how people perceive me (nor do I care) so the point of this blog is for me to write down who I am according to me.


*I have anxiety, You wouldn't think that I do because I can go up to pretty much anyone and talk there ear off but when it comes to large groups or crowds of people, even public speaking I get extremely anxious.


*I don't organize even though I have tried countless times to have a system, my system is simply a pile of junk that gets higher and higher until I can't stand it then I clean or I've lost something so I clean until I find that specific item (or Lance finds it which is usually the case.)


*I call either my older sister or my mom everyday and only when I'm driving because it keeps me entertained and also because they are fun to talk to. Every member of my family knows that when I'm calling them I am almost always in the car.


*My favorite thing about people is that they have favorites. I have also been known to get excited about driving a car because if you think about it the automobile sure has come along way and I am happy that I am able to operate one.


*I can bake Pies, Tarts, Cakes and anything else you ask me to from scratch but when it comes to chocolate chip cookies I couldn't make those to save my life.


*My favorite color is Purple with Red coming in a close second. While growing up My mom let me paint my room purple with a green ceiling, it was my favorite thing because it focused alot around a few Monet paintings (which are my favorites).


I am starting to feel like this post has turned into one large list of things about me. That's a little lame. I could start rambling off things like... well I can't think of any now other then I have a fear of Fish, I collect Harry Potter wands (I don't use them, no laughing) and Tend to buy things I don't need just because they are on sale and a good price. I am an avid collector of movies and could watch some movies over and over again. I tend to share my opinion at the wrong time and it ends up getting twisted and thrown back at me. I really do Care about people and how they are doing, but end up not following through because I don't want to be in the way. I know I'm weird.



I do have more to write about but Avi woke up and I want to hang out with her. so this is all you are going to get from me.

While I was working last night, waiting for Photos to download I decided to check out Etsy. It this cute like website that people can both buy and sell homemade, custom or vintage things and items. While looking around to find things that might keep my hands warm I stumbled across this photo and had to laugh..

Was there real a reason why she is holding a felt banana? this also make me wonder whaa was going through her head when she was taking this photo "oh yes this lime/lemon colored banana will set these gloves off nicely."... silly people

Thoughts

My head feels as if it is going to explode. I have an incredible amount of thoughts and "to dos" going through my mind in which I just can not sort through. It has gotten so bad I have made myself depressed on top of a huge migraine. I blame my BRAIN if I weren't so even minded maybe I would be able to start from one point and work my way towards the end.


Now I am off to watch Twlight for the 4th time. Who have I become? I am obsessing so badly that I have dreams about Vampire children, AND THEY ARE MINE!! ... sweet


I really should have listened to my sister Shayla back in 2003 when she started reading the Series and kept telling me that I would like them. At least this obsession would have died out by now... or would it?

Torture..

It isn't bad enough that I have a headache and am all out of Tylenol. It's makes things ten times worse when the pharmaceuticals company thinks it's a good idea to put this in the bottle:

1 year of Blogging!

So I forgot that it was my year mark for blogging. Although I haven't done it everyday I would still like to so something special. Like a GIVEAWAY!!! in the next couple of days I will be posting what I am giving away and by the end of the month it will be in someones possession!... I'm not telling what it is but I will let you know that it's really cute and I think I want one too.
