One of the new things I have been doing with Avi is flying. I'm not sure if she likes to do it alot but she smiles when she is up in the air so thats a good thing I guess. Even when she is smiling really big and I bring out my camera she Stops smiling, Stares into it, and/or starts crying.

My boys loved this, too. Still do, actually. And 30 lbs. is a lot for my quads. Sounds like Avi going to be a reluctant model....better do something about that!!
Kaden would always stop smiling when I brought the camera out. Always. It was so frustrating. Then one day he was freaking out in the car and I couldn't get him to stop crying so I brought out the camera and took pictures of me and him and then showed the display screen to him and from then on he always smiles realy big. Too big almost. So, give it time. Show her herself after you take the picture and maybe it'll "click" for her like it did for Kaden.
I totally do this with Red Fish. She always looks a little worried though.
