I am Super stocked for all the new and exciting things that will be happening this next few months. I am actually going to run and jump out of my comfort zone and do something that I haven't done in um 15 or so years. That is train and get in shape to do 10k. Now this is no ordinary 10k this is what is called a Dirty Dash. This is the low down on what it will be benefiting
The Dirty Dash will be benefiting your cardiovascular system, body image, the Soldier Hollow Legacy Foundation (Salt Lake City), the YMCA (Spokane, Boise, and Billings), Hopelink (Seattle) and The Leukemia & Lymphoma Society (Salt Lake City). All races will also have a HOG WASH where you can purchase balloons to throw at the participants which will benefit a small local charity.
Its not just in Utah its a few other places as well.
I am doing one of two things to try and get myself ready for this "fun run" the first one being working out daily with my team, which hasn't been going very well so far. not only am I not a morning person neither is Bug so It I want to work out I have to wake her up and then both of us are pretty darn grumpy by the end of the day.. Sorry Husband. it will get better "um hopefully."
The other thing that I'm working on is getting my eating habits back on track. I am what you would call a non eater.. ok that's not true I don't normally eat breakfast and by normally I mean never. I have devised a plan and have named it Meatless in 30 days. I will have a separate blog for this because I have quite a few rules to follow. and I'm also sad I completely messed up on it today.. ugh!
We'll see how this works out. I'm just excited to do something.
