Next time I am going to hang up way more then just two poster boards for this painting project. Lucky for me the paint was only cornstarch, water and food coloring so it came off the fence easily, or it will once I actually clean it off.

Tea Party

who's up for some super grainy pictures!!! MEMEMEME. well that's what you are going to get so oh well. Girls didn't really want there pictures taken you should see some of the other ones. by golly they are funny. So this tea set is mine. I got it when I was maybe 10 or something like that and right after I got it my mom took it from me and kept it in her closet so it wouldn't get broken. way to go mom. :) Granted it is porcelain and that wouldn't have been fun if I had broken it. it was fun to have the girls over. My house is torn apart. Although that isn't there fault I was going to clean while they were playing and ended up having to much fun playing so it didn't get done. Eh I'm already over it.

Bug was invited to go to a birthday party today and last night around 10 or so I realized I didn't have a complete present and I wasn't going to rush myself in the morning. Luckily I have a drawer FULL of random fabrics so this is what I ended up doing:

Shoulder bag/Purse with velcro closer.

 I also made a headband for her. with the same fabric I used to make the flower on the bag with.

I also filled the bag/purse with little goodies such as a water bottle (that i got from target) a princess crown, flower hair ties and also some little mermaid lip gloss. (oh how loo loves making her lips pretty) Bug had a great time, running around with balloons filling up on strawberry birthday cake and best of all playing with her friends.

Blast from the past...

I don't have much to say, currently I am in California trying to figure out what is best for my famiy. I ran across a few old phots that grade school friends have so graciously posted on there facebook page.. nice

this one I have to say is pretty sweet.. I look like a goon, and check out those bangs. ( on all of us!)

The Handmade Dress Co.

I few months ago I entered a giveaway from Grosgrain and I won some of the CUTEST dress patterns from a company called The Handmade Dress. Today While i was packing up a few thing I came across the patterns and decided to Call the Lady who designed them and thank her. Her name is Samantha and she is one of the most delightful person I have ever spoke with over the phone. We got to talking and she had mentioned that her family was in the process of adopting and needed as much help as they could get. So in my way of helping I am asking all my blog friends and family to at least check out Samantha's site.

In the mean time here is a picture of Avi on Christmas in a skirt I made from one of Samantha's Patterns

Mall Fun

I need a weekly dose of the fish people or I will go slightly insane. This week was SHOPPING! and a carousel for the girls. Red loved it... Avi not so much after the 5th go around she was FREAKED. Well maybe when she is older we will try again.

Painting

Red Fish came over to play with Bug and that had a little painting project going on. I was going to post some of Red Fish but I felt uncomfortable about posted half naked photos of someone else's child... you know.
One Fish maybe next time we shouldn't use red paint.. it looks a bit scary if you don't know what you are looking at =)

Bathing with Boys

I must say I was a little worried that Avi didn't care about being naked with a boy.. =) Luckily Kaden was a gentleman and stayed as far away from her as possible... lol

We had a lot of fun visiting with Jeron, Lisa and Kaden whil we were in Mesa. It's not everyday that the first time you meet someone you jumb in the tub with them.

Year in Review 2008

Looking back it didn't really seem like very much happen this last year. I mean we had a baby celebrated being in our house a year... blah blah blah. But when I actually sat down and thought about ti we did accomplish quite a bit. So here is the Studebaker's "readers digest" version of how our year went.
January
~My Photography Business Celebrated it's 3rd year!
February
~Lance turned 28 on the 16th
~He also single handed killed my Mazda by putting something in the brake lines. ( I think it was a blessing because that car was going to die anyway)
~Nemiha got a new car
~still doing the baby count down
March
~We celebrated out 1 year mark for being in our home on the 1st
~My 1 year mark for my hip replacement was on the 3rd.. and its still FANTASTIC
~Our beautiful baby girl was born 03/05/08 at 12:52pm

April
~officially quit my job to be a full time mom!!!
May

~Lance and I celebrated our 5 year anniversary on the 24th.
~Lance d I took Avi on her first flight to get blessed in California.



June and July
~Summer days, Lakes, Family, Drive in movies, Fireworks.. etc
~ My photog business got featured in a photography magazine.
~Lance Celebrated YEAR 4 at his job.

August
~ I turned 25 on the 2nd... weird

September
~Avi had her second flight to California to play with cousins and grandparents for a couple weeks.
~my first time EVER being a bridesmaid for one of my most favorite people JILL. and I got to wear purple which in my favorite color. she is the best

October
~my busiest month EVER for photography. With more then 20 shoots that month.
~Avi's first Halloween, She was a dragon.
November
~Avi's first Thanksgiving, we have been doing the tradition of having our own thanksgiving at home. it was fun that Avi was able to eat some traditional food and not just baby food.
December
~Avi's First Christmas. Delightful.

As the year came to an end I realized it was abusy one... with Baby, Business and Family visits

I can go into this year thinking that it can only go up from here. I wish that friendships that are new will grow strong and ones that have begun to mend will be fixed in time. Worries of economy and struggles will only be brief. and finally MY last wish is that I complete at least 2 of my resolutions this year.

Thank you to all that made 2008 great, friends that I haven't seen in awhile.. *cough* WonderWoman I am working into getting down to you ASAP =) and all others I will make time to catch up. because believe me when I say I need some girl time.!

Dinner with Fish and Friends

We were quite busy Saturday with Santa in the afternoon and a Birthday Dinner for one our close friends at night. Our plans were to for all 8 of us.. plus 2 babies to meet up at the restaurant at 6 and enjoy each other's company while we waited for our table.. We waited and waited and waited. they people before us had finished there dinner and were just sitting there for an extended period of time. RUDE!

Finally we were seated and had a fantastic dinner, beef ribs, potatoe salad and beans... yum. All I was missing was the farm animals, cinnamon rolls and the fair.

Here we are waiting, this was before we all got grouchy from hunger.
