Pan is 1

So I tried to get a bunch of photos uploaded i few weeks ago and then they disappeared so I gave up.

Milestones for Mister Pan,
he can say uhoh and dad really well. know show to say mom just doesn't. anytime he sees the cats or a photo of a cat he meows. Drinks out of a straw really well, Has two teeth on the bottom and painfully wokring on the two top teeth. I really wish they would quit torturing him and just come out already. Can climb stairs and is really good at it. almost has the climbing back down mastered but we block the stairs so he doesn't get much practice. makes the vroom sounds when he plays with cars.

ONE of my favorite things that he does is if he is laying down and you yell CLEAR! ( like they do in the hospital to shock a person back to life) he will hit his belly and make the "jolt" sound. He just started giving kisses that aren't the full open mouth kind which is nice and so much less slobbery. He would much rather Play in Bugs room then his own while we are upstairs. Hasn't shown much interest in walking although he has taken at most 5 steps at a time.

NO we did not get a puppy this was a friends of ours newest member of the family and Pan Loved him.

New Years Day

Got to go shooting with MLH and my brother in laws this morning. Haven't actually done that since MLH and I were dating so it has been a few years. We shot my Grandfathers 30o-6 (sure that makes sense) and Bug was able to shoot a .22 with a little help of course.

Christmas Day

Christmas has come and gone and once again I forgot to get myself into one of the photos with my kids.

The kids had a great time opening presents and then later on visiting with their cousins and opening more presents.

Temple lights

We went Saturday of last week and it was a total mad house! Bugs  was having a hard time enjoying the lights at temple square since she is basically the height of everyone's Booty. At least we were able to go and walk around before it closed for the evening. it had taken us 45 mins to park and for that I remember why we started taking Trax in the first place. :) 

Everyone was happy that we got some hot chocolate and was able to warm up a bit after we bravely fought the crowd of light gazers. 

been thinking.

I hate thinking it hurts my brain and I tend to over think things... a lot.
Then there is the lack of sleep that doesn't involve a tiny toddler or a night terrored 5 year old.  Things I have been thinking about:
- I miss blogging and taking photos of my children that aren't just from my phone.
- With Bugs being in Kindergarten I feel like we traded play time for strict school schedules and places we need to be at a specific time.
- In all the years that MLH and I have been together we haven't had to "dress-up" for a holiday party and this year his new job is hosting a "SEMI-formal" and my first thought are what the heck does that mean? (ok so I had to clean it up a bit but you get the gist)
-  HOW  DO YOU ACCESSORIZE A DRESS!? it may not be a big to deal to some but I am totally at a loss. I have called, asked and beat to death this with family and friends heck even total strangers I have asked while in the store and I still can't come to an answer. Prob not the best thing considering the party is tonight :/  I will most likely be posting photos from the event.

- back to the phone photo, this is one thing that I will be able to change. I will be dusting off my camera and even toy with the idea of updating my stock lens. Since I sold almost everything 3 years ago when I stopped photographing weddings and families. I was so burnt out from taking photos that I just stopped. (my poor kids) So yesterday I started small and took a few photos while Pan was in the tub. It made me happy and relax just a bit.

I think this will be a good thing. :)

that's it. I ran out of thoughts and now Bug is going to be late for the next scheduled thing/event/day activity. I don't even know what day it is.

Pan - 11months

STILL NO TEETH and he isn't even close to walking which is ok by me. I have no idea how much he weighs or how tall he is. I know that he eats ten times more then Bugs does at this point. He can blow kisses, wave, point when you say YOOOU all evilly and also meows. Sleeps a lot better through the night and also has the occasionally 4 am party which drives me bonkers.

He is the Lord of the dance.  

I had to make pants for the poor kid because I couldn't find any that didn't have huge leg holes at the bottom. These are just one pair I have made him. he has lots. I love the knee patches that are sewn into the pant leg instead of just on top.
