Charmed

I love the show Charmed. I'm sure I have blogged about it before. So when all 8 seasons became available on Netflix I was SUPER excited!! I'm sure that's a bit of an understatement. I have been watching it almost every night, and can I just say that I had no idea that I missed the ENTIRE 7th season. I know thats not a big deal, but I was so freaking excited that I was able to watch new shows ones I haven't even seen before! woohoo..

I hope that either Fish will let me come over and watch them with her =) or they will post them quickly on the net so I can watch while I am editing.

Colt Ford is somewhat your Weird Al country music. he has done some funny songs in the past and recently he came up with a twilight spoof. It's a good song, its better when you watch video though. made me smile.

Lately I have been working incredibly long hours. I'm talking over 60hr weeks with craptastic hours. To make myself feel better and with the permission of my darling husband I bought myself 2 presents. One being a studio light and two a portrait lens(this is my second set of these items just not specifically these items). 

I've had these things for over a week and wasn't able to use them because of the rain. 

Silly excuse I know but the studio I use was ALL the WAY in the BACK yard and it was raining most of the time. Yesterday was the day. I took my light, lens, camera and everything else including one grumpy child that didn't want to have anything to do with me. After an hour battle and only 2 cookies later I got a handful of pictures. The light works wonders and I am excited for this weekend to try more wiggle worms out. 

She had , had enough by this point and it was just the begining.

Obviously this is not my castle and if it were then I would certainly vacation here often. To tell you the truth I would probably not leave for any length of time.

For those who didn't know or don't know me my maiden name is Slane, My ancestors (on my dad's side) are originally from Ireland and I am very proud to be associated with this country, from the red hue in my hair to the skin color that doesn't get appreciated enough. I LOVE IT! I want to visit, live and experience life here. It would be a dream. (hopefully not only a dream)
Maybe husband will take me here on our 10 year, Ever since we first got married I have had this thought that I would have a toddler and a child in a hiking backpack walking around Ireland.. Well that is settled husband we are going to Ireland in 3 years.

As of right now both my husband and daughter have been asleep for approx 2 hours. So to make use of my time I surfed the "net" for things I didn't need but really want.

A few weeks back I was looking up random movie starts on imdb.com (it's one of my favorite websites because of all the random facts about people.)

I came across the page of Ashley Greene, she is the cute girl that plays Alice in the Twilight Movies.

Turns out she was a model for this online clothing store stopstaring.com blah blah blah... needless to say I fell in love with one of the many dresses and now I visit weekly hoping the price of it goes down (or just leaves so I won't be tempted)

I mean seriously can't you just see me wearing this! I would totally rock it.

*sigh*

Such is life and not always getting what I want.

Twilight

My mother will laugh that I have been obsessed with 'Twilight' after I "poo-pooed" the idea in the first place... (those were her words not mine) I think it was more of the movie had to be made first before I started reading and I was already consumed with a certain wizard that I had no room for a vampire.

Alas I caved and have been bitten. It's nice to get out of reality and fill you head with someone else's words for once.
